The Charity Times Leadership Conference is open for registration.
The annual event will be held at the Waldorf Hilton, London on 6 May 2020 and will focus on powerful decision-making and influential leadership.
Keynote speakers include Shelter CEO, Polly Neate; ActionAid CEO, Girish Menon and former Action for Children and Gulguiding CEO, Julie Bentley.
The conference will offer interactive workshops, case studies, panel discussions and practical advice on the tools needed to be an inspirational leader.
It is designed for chief executives, chairs, trustees, directors or heads of department of charities of all sizes.
Topics include:
- Wellbeing and mental health: managing stress in the workplace
- Ethics vs income: should it matter where your charity's money comes from?
- Personal development: authenticity and bringing your full self to work
- Technology: how to build an online profile in a sea of trolls
- Finance: why sitting on your cash could be costly
- Crisis avoidance: using transparent reporting
- Public speaking: the art of effective communication
- Governance: to merge or not the merge?
- Ethics over income: the power of saying no
- Culture: creating an inclusive and powerful workplace culture
- Trusteeship: managing board time more effectively
Sessions will be split into a combination of workshops, panel discussions, keynotes and intimate masterclasses.
The day will offer a chance to network among other leaders within the sector. It attracts up to 7 hours CPD points.
