The Role

The Company is seeking to appoint an experienced Charities Accountant to work alongside the Senior Charities Accountant in managing all aspects of the charities’ accounting including budgeting, management accounting and preparing annual financial statements.
You will also work closely with the Housing Team on financial management related to the housing schemes and the Philanthropy Team to formulate the budgets for the grant making programmes.

This is an exciting opportunity to work for an ancient but ambitious city organisation, investing in opportunities to create positive change and make a real difference to people’s lives.

The Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate will be a Qualified/Newly Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA and have knowledge and experience of an accountancy role in the Charitable, Third or Housing Sector. You will have strong analytical and reporting skills, with the ability to analyse and communicate complex information. You will have an organised and methodical approach with the ability to form effective working relationships with a range of stakeholders.
