Ethical Property Foundation appoints new chair

The Ethical Property Foundation has appointed Peter Damesick as its new chairman.

Damesick, who worked for 26 years with property adviser CBRE as head of UK research, chief economist and chairman of research for EMEA, will take over from John Whitaker, who completes nine years’ service.

After recently retiring, Damesick now works as an independent consultant and holds a number of voluntary roles, including chair of Tandridge CVS.

Commenting on his appointment, Damesick said: “I welcome the opportunity to serve as the new chair of the Ethical Property Foundation and feel very fortunate to have the support of our excellent group of trustees.

“I look forward to working with our exceptional chief executive and her talented and dedicated team in developing EPF’s unique role in advising, informing and educating charities and non-profits in property matters.”

Patricia Nicholson, formerly financial controller at Ladbroke Group Property Division, will take over as treasurer of EPF and Jean-Marie Ferdègue, director of PA Consulting, will have responsibility for digital communications.

Trustees Bill Scott and Ann Allen will both be stepping down.
