National Youth Orchestra
The National Youth Orchestra (NYO) has appointed Lucy Bayliss as director of engagement & partnerships, a new role for the organisation.

Starting mid-November, previously Bayliss was head of creative programmes at DanceEast, and is a champion for equity and access, establishing free dance lessons for children and
young people from lower socio-economic backgrounds. She also established DanceEast’s nationally recognised Centre for Advanced Training and launched the UK’s first 2-year BA (Hons) Dance degree with the University of Suffolk.

Onside
OnSide has appointed Anabel Hoult, chief executive of Which? as Chair of its Board of Trustees.

She brings extensive experience in leadership, governance and strategy development from her roles as Chief Executive of Which? and senior positions at Save the Children. An OnSide Trustee since 2020, and a volunteer youth worker early in her career.

Stoke Association
The Stroke Association has appointed Jason Parker as its next chair, as Stephen King steps down in January 2026 after eight years.

Jason had a stroke six years ago at the age of 45. He was paralysed and wheelchair bound and it had an enormous impact on his mental health however, he has now made a good recovery and uses his experience to help other stroke survivors.

He also brings extensive leadership and business expertise as a Senior Partner at KPMG, with 28 years' experience primarily in healthcare looking after senior relationships across NHS England and the Care Quality Commission.

The Frobel Trust
Early childhood education charity, The Froebel Trust has appointed Mark Devlin as its new Chair of Trustees. The appointment comes as the Trust begins planning for its next strategic period.

Devlin has served as CEO of the national charity, Young Epilepsy and previous to this was Chief Operating Officer of UNICEF UK. He has also been a Trustee of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health.
