Community Hospice
Community Hospice has announced that chief executive Kate Heaps will be stepping down from her role.

She will leave her role in March after almost two decades at the hospice, with 16 years as CEO.

Deputy Chief Executive Aneta Saunders has been appointed Interim Chief Executive until a full-time appointment is made.

She currently leads the retail, communications and fundraising teams, who work directly with our community to provide much needed funding. She has been at Community Hospice since March 2019.

Good Things Foundation
Good Things Foundation has announced the appointment of Vicki Sellick MBE as chief executive designate.

Previously, she led the charity arm of St John Ambulance. Prior to this, she was chief partnership officer at innovation foundation.

She was awarded an MBE in 2021 for services to social action.

Impetus
Lisa Harker, director of Nuffield Family Justice Observatory, has been appointed to the Impetus Board of Trustees. 

She brings more than three decades of experience working across research, policy, journalism, campaigning, and service delivery, with a consistent focus on improving the lives of young people from disadvantaged backgrounds. 

ShelterBox
International disaster relief charity ShelterBox has welcomed Fee Gilfeather as its new director of fundraising and communications. 

She brings more than 18 years of experience in the not-for-profit sector, including senior roles at Oxfam GB where she led mass engagement and fundraising campaigns.

Her expertise spans fundraising strategy, brand development, partnerships, and integrated communications. 

St John Ambulance
St John Ambulance announces the appointment of Chris Reed as its new director of volunteering support.

He joins the charity from the Scouts, where he recently served as interim executive director of operations, leading on volunteer engagement and transformation.

Over his 20+ year career, he has held senior leadership roles at charities including Barnardo’s.
