Charity digital expert launches AI video series to upskill the sector

Charity digital expert, Zoe Amar, has launched an eight-part artificial intelligence video leadership series equip charity leaders with the skills they need to navigate AI.

The Charity AI Leadership Essentials series follows the success of the Charity AI Leadership Accelerator, a programme delivered by Zoe Amar Digital in collaboration with Microsoft.

Around 76% of charities are now using AI tools to increase efficiency and the Accelerator programme received over 400 applications for just 100 places, highlighting an appetite among leaders for practical advice.

The newly launched video series aims to respond to this demand, sharing insights and tested strategies from the programme, tailored to both small and large charities.

Topics include AI strategy, governance, team confidence, and change management. Each video offers real-world approaches that can be implemented immediately.

The content responds directly to challenges highlighted in the latest Charity Digital Skills Report, particularly the need to boost leadership capability.

The report found that 36% of charities say their CEOs have poor AI skills, while 44% say the same of their boards.

“Leaders want to improve, which is why the Charity AI Leadership Accelerator programme was so oversubscribed. For those who missed out on a spot, our new video series will provide a range of expert tips and practical support to help leaders and boards to built more confidence in AI and start bridging the AI skills gap from the top,” Amar said.
