Speaker profile: Kimberley Ferguson
Kimberley is a Brand Manager with ten years of experience working in small and large charities. In March 2021, she joined Christian Aid, where she has been tasked with developing a case for support to reverse a 10-year decline in awareness, consideration and support. Before that, Kim worked for the British Heart Foundation (BHF), where she played a lead role in the BHF’s 2018 rebrand. Following its launch, the BHF’s consideration, impact, and urgency metrics reached their highest recorded levels and despite a challenging market the BHF’s fundraising income grew too. Kim is passionate about sharing brand and marketing best practices and has had articles published in the International Journal Market Research, The Civil Society, Charity Comms & Fundrasing.co.uk. She is an active member of the Charity Comms Brand Breakfast Steering Group and ISBA’s Insight and Effectiveness working group. Kim is also a vocal advocate for social mobility and is part of a small group of like-minded creatives helping make common people more common in the creative industries.
