MARKETING SHOW REMAINS POPULAR IN SPITE OF RECESSION 18/03/03

Figures released from the recent International Direct Marketing Fair (IDMF) show the event continued to attract huge numbers despite the economic crisis.

More than 11,000 visitors attended the three-day show, held at Earls Court in London for the first time, and organisers Reed Exhibitions announced it was "very pleased" with the statistics.

A high percentage of attendees were senior level buyers, with 80% of the 280 exhibitors reporting sales being made from the stand.

The show also saw Reed announce that the National Direct Marketing Show in Birmingham later this year will run alongside a Royal Mail-sponsored Address and Data Management Solutions event. More information can be found at www.ndmshow.co.uk.
