Nominations
are about to close for the Telephone Helpline Awards 2003, which rewards
excellence from both charities and individuals in five main categories.
The theme for this year's awards is accessibility and the judges are looking
for qualities such as exceptional commitment, innovative marketing, and
flexibility to adapt to changing users' needs.
The five categories are for: Helpline Volunteer of the Year, Most Dynamic
Method of Reaching Target Audience, Most User-Focused Service of the Year,
Developing Effective Networks, and Best Use of IT.
Nominations close on September 5 and the winners will be announced at a
ceremony in London on November 26.
