GRANTMAKER IMPROVES APPLICATION PROCESS |

A
new grant structure for the Local Heritage Initiative will take away the
need for successful applicants to provide matched funding for grants.
The streamlining allows charities to apply for 100% grants up to £25,000,
instead of needing to provide a match funding of 5%.
It has also revised the application forms in a bid to make it simpler to
apply for a grant. The Initiative is a ten-year scheme to encourage communities
to take practical action in caring for their heritage.
