Institute of fundraising announces board changes 29/06/05
 
The Institute of Fundraising (Institute) has announced the results of its most recent trustee election, with the new board taking effect from 12 July 2005.

Eight trustees will remain from the current board - they are: (Chair) Joe Saxton - director, nfpSynergy; Nick Brooks - head of not for profit, Kingston Smith Chartered Accountants; Mike Caudrey - honorary treasurer and managing director at Blue Spark Consulting; Judith Feeney - chief executive of Cure Leukaemia; Olga Johnson - chief executive of CR Search & Selection; Andrew Nebel - director of marketing and communications at Barnardo’s; Gill Wootton - consultant, Wootton George Consulting; and Alan Gosschalk - fundraising director of Shelter (co-opted in May this year).

In addition, seven new trustees have been elected to join the board - they are: Paul Amadi - director of fundraising, Sense; Theresa Dauncey - chief executive, The National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery Development Foundation; Sarah Lyness - co-director of fundraising and marketing, Cancer Research UK; Jeremy Payne - director of fundraising and external relations, Samaritans; Martin Price – consultant, Martin Price Associates; Catrin Tilley – director of development, National Galleries of Scotland; and Bryan Walliker - regional fundraising development manager & national fundraising manager - Northern Ireland, Diabetes UK Northern Ireland.

Sue Douthwaite, Claire Wilson, Hugh McCaw, Maggie Mooge, Gail McAulay, Stephen Elsden and Jon Scourse will be standing down at the AGM on 12th July 2005.

Joe Saxton, the Institute’s chair of trustees, said: “We are disappointed to lose some of our current trustees in the election and we thank them for all their hard work in recent years.”
