£70,000 ICT funding pot opened up 05/07/06

The Information and Communication Technology Hub is calling on voluntary and community organisations to apply for a grant from its £70,000 unmet need fund.

Organisations can apply for funding to provide ICT services and resources that are needed by the voluntary sector but not already available.

The funding pot, the second phase of the unmet need fund, aims to enable the development and delivery of pilot projects which are innovative. The hub will then share the lessons from these pilots across England.

The funding will be split between two and four non-profit organisations for projects running between October 2006 and March 2007. Five projects were granted cash in the first phase of the fund.

“This is an exciting opportunity to find out what works in providing ICT support services to the sector and making recommendations to capacity builders,” said Louise Brown, administration and outcomes officer at the hub.

The deadline for applications is 26 July. An application form can be downloaded from www.icthub.org.uk
