The Institute of Fundraising is calling on suppliers to
submit products for its February ‘Innovation Zone’
before the 25 January closing date.
The Zone is a half-yearly forum in which new products and
services are presented to a live panel of charities which
review and assess supplier proposals. The February forum
is set to meet on 7 February, with a summary report of the
forum’s findings to be published on the Institute’s
website.
Commenting on the Zone, the Institute’s director
of policy and campaigns, Megan Pacey, said: “Past
ground breaking fundraising tools and techniques to have
come out of the Innovation Zone include JumbleAID, Studio51
Christmas cards and LUUP [an SMS service]. Those who have
similar innovations for 2008 are strongly encouraged to
submit their proposals before the deadline.”
