Accessibility champions sought
12/12/05

The ICT Hub is seeking organisations around the country with expertise in information technology to offer advice to charities as to how they can make their computer systems accessible to all.

Open to voluntary and community organisations that already offer, or are planning to offer, accessibility services, the “champions” will receive up to £200,000 to fund their work.

Sue Pullan from the hub said: “Increasing the accessibility of ICT is a major part of our work. We invite organisaitons from Luton to Liverpool to apply for the tender to help us to deliver accessibility services throughout the country.”

The invitation to tender is available at www.ictconsortium.org.uk and closes on 26 January 2006.
