Chairman of the Big Lottery
Fund (BLF), Sir Clive Booth is to host a live web discussion next week as
part of the distributor’s commitment to its public consultation.
Scheduled for between 3pm and 4pm on Wednesday 8 December
2004, the forum will provide an opportunity for people to raise questions
regarding the allocation of lottery money to good causes.
“I am very much looking forward to logging on and
interacting with the general public online,” said Sir Clive Booth.
“Our online discussion board is proving a very popular site for
everyone to debate current topics to do with the BLF and national lottery
funding in general. I’m anticipating that many more interesting
subjects will be put forward during the web chat.”
Current questions
on the online discussion board include: Where does funding go? Should
women be a priority group and what are the real benefits to the merger
which has created the BLF? People interested in taking part in the discussion
should log onto www.biglotteryfund.co.uk
and follow the links.
