A new toolkit to measure voluntary sector outcomes, processes
and capability has been developed by the Bradford Council
for Voluntary Service.
Called ECHO (Essential Checklist for Healthy Organisations)
the toolkit is partly based on the Public Sector Scorecard
developed by Sheffield Hallam University’s Max Moullin
in 2002. ECHO provides guidance on self-assessment to improve
organisational strategy, performance, competence, capability
and delivery of services.
The toolkit will be available from mid-September, most
likely as a download from the Bradford Council for Voluntary
Service’s website. Visit www.bradfordcvs.org.uk
In the meantime, you can find more information on the Public
Sector Scorecard at www.shu.ac.uk/research/ciod/tqm/scorecard.html
