Futurebuilders stands to provide a fund of £16 million to help existing organisations and support the opening of new ones, which the SCVO says will put the sector in “an enhanced position when bidding to deliver public services”.

Although there are still details to be given as to the delivery of funds, SCVO says the initiative will be judged a success if monies can be managed transparently and effectively, European funds can be levered in to boost resources and a wide range of organisations benefit.
