Information law scholarship to be launched 28/04/06

A new information law scholarship is being launched for charities seeking qualifications in data protection or freedom of information, but are unable to afford the training and examination fees.

The programme, the Shelagh Gaskill Scholarship, from law firm Pinsent Masons will cover the full costs of training a number of candidates each year to achieve Information Systems Examinations Board (ISEB) certificates in data protection and freedom of information. The scholarship will be launched on 19 May.

Applications for the scholarship are available at www.pinsentmasons.com
