Two more FTSE 100 companies join sustainability group 13/04/06

Sustainable development charity Forum for the Future has announced that Kingfisher and Friends Provident have committed to formal partnerships with the organisation, taking the number of FTSE 100 companies engaging with it to 23.

Forum works with companies, local authorities, regional bodies and universities to help build their capacity to achieve more sustainable practices. The new partnerships allow Friends Provident and Kingfisher to join a network of over 60 other businesses who have indicated interest in pursuing a sustainable agenda.

Sally Uren, director of the Business Programme at Forum for the Future said: “The decision by these two large and well respected companies to work in partnership with Forum for the Future reflects a growing interest in sustainable development from big business.”
