Online campaign site Louder.org.uk has been launched by
the National Council for Voluntary Organisations (NCVO)
for campaigners of all levels, from international NGOs to
individual grassroots activists.
All size orgnanisations will be able to access and bring
together a range of online activist tools and practical
guides and resources to devise and run their own e-campaigns.
Through Louder.org.uk, individuals and groups can create
a microsite for their campaign with the most used online
activist tools the web has to offer. There are a range of
options that can help charirt campaigns.
Campaigners will also be able to connect to update and
manage their profiles on other social media sites such as
YouTube, Facebook, Twitter helping charities to better coordinate
supporter action.
Susie Rabin, learning and development manager, campaigning
effectiveness at NCVO, said: “We are really excited
by the possibilities that Louder offers to campaigning.
This is a really great new resource for all campaigners
which pulls together all the social media tools that are
out there and will enable anyone to run an effective campaign
no matter what their experience or budget.”
