NCVO is giving its smaller members the chance to attend one
of the three main political party conferences this year through
its Party Conference Bursary Scheme.
Through its Party Conference Bursary Scheme, NCVO has reserved
21 exclusive conference places (seven places per conference)
for its smaller members.
Two places at each conference will be reserved for local
members in Bournemouth, Brighton and Manchester, giving
charities the chance to have their voices heard and to raise
the profile of their work with the main political parties.
NCVO will support successful organisations with a programme
of meetings for the conferences, including a roundtable
discussion with a senior MP or Minister.
Winners will also receive a two-day pass to one of the
party conferences and one night’s accommodation and
Ann Blackmore, head of Policy, NCVO, said: “It’s
important that all charities, large or small, are given
the chance to meet with politicians to get their message
across. The bursary scheme will give smaller charities the
chance to have their say at one of the biggest political
events of the year.”
To qualify for the scheme, organisations should have a
turnover of less than £500,000, be a registered charity
and an NCVO member.
Organisations wanting more information and an application
form should contact email@example.com or
