Young people to get work boost 15/01/09
Thousands of young people are to receive support to find work with major national employers.

The support will come through a new initiative led by the National Care Advisory Service (NCAS) – supported by the national young people’s charity Catch22.

The initiative will receive funding from the Department for Children, Schools and Families (DCSF) and for the first time will bring together voluntary, private and public sectors to provide career support for care leavers in a national programme.

Support to develop the initiative has already been secured from employers including BAA, Norwich Union, Reed and SERCO.
