A website designed by the National Deaf Children’s
Society (NDCS) has won the Interactive Media Awards (IMA)
Best in Class 2008.
The website developed for the NDCS Hands up project, scored
over 93% in all categories, including design, content, feature
functionality, usability and browser compatibility.
It contains video clips of songs in sign language for Girl
Guides to learn, as well as downloadable creative fundraising
ideas, and an online photogallery.
The website also explains ways that groups can be more
deaf aware, and includes stories from deaf Brownies.
