Rensburg Sheppards Investment Management (RSIM) has appointed Simon Barker as director of new business in its charities division. He will take up the position on 10 September 2009.

Barker will join RSIM from Asset Risk Consultants (ARC) where his role included advising charities on their investment portfolios, risk profiling and the setting of strategic investment parameters.

Prior to joining ARC, Barker was a portfolio director at Schroders and then Global Asset Management and brings with him over 19 years’ experience of managing charities’ portfolios and working with charity trustees.
