Price: from £25
The PrimeTimers Colloquia is a series
of early evening debates for an engaged and informed
examination of an issue - lifelong learning - that
is strategic for the future of the third sector
in the British economy and society.
This one will examine the idea that the establishment
of a University, the strongest brand in education,
could recognise the role of civil society in underpinning
the diverse values and aspirations of freely associated
people worldwide, including the third sector. It
could also act as the focus for the skills, training,
research and lifelong learning essential to a strong
and effective third sector. Are the barriers –
