Venturesome is a pioneering social investment initiative from CAF. It offers unsecured loans and other financing solutions to charities when a grant or loan from a mainstream provider is not an option. Venturesome has offered support to over 100 charities and it investment fund now stands at £6.5 million. The judges said it was modern and appropriate, value-added in the support that it gives and that its success speaks for itself.
