Tai Pawb |
| Tai
Pawb was established as the first Black and Minority Ethnic
housing organisation for Wales, its name in essence meaning
'housing for all'. It was established in response to the
recognition that BME people were disproportionately represented
in poor quality housing in Wales. It works with its members,
the Welsh assembly government and the public at large
to undertake activities aimed at promoting race equality
in housing. The judges said that there was a real clarity
about their aims and objectives and a very real understanding
from the beginning that they needed to engage and involve
stakeholders. |
