Inefficiency in the third sector places a heavy burden on organisations as they fight to deal with day-to-day activities and a growing mountain of administration.
With the increasing cost of attracting new supporters, not-for-profits need to communicate more effectively than ever before, to engage their audience and really understand what makes them tick.
Charity software provider, Access Group, recently conducted a research survey asking charities how they manage fundraising activity and what barriers they face in doing so.
Survey results highlighted how inefficiencies within organisations were not only holding them back but draining time, energy and resources away from their core activity. For example, nearly two thirds of respondents still manage their fundraising activity using spreadsheets.
In a new report, Access Group explain how a CRM system can help tackle inefficiencies, enabling charities to get much closer to supporters and improve fundraising activities.
