The Institute for Optimum Nutrition (ION) is a dynamic organisation at the forefront of its profession. As a high quality training provider we work with the latest teaching digital technologies to provide the best learning experience for our students. Our staff are highly committed and passionate about nutrition and ensuring our students have the highest level of satisfaction. The organisation is building on its history of being the first to develop a course teaching person centred nutrition. We are at an exciting point in our development and are seeking to appoint two enthusiastic and committed Trustees who will bring Higher Education or Strategic Marketing expertise to our Board.

We are seeking from both candidates an in-depth knowledge of their area of expertise, strategic thinking on how their sector is evolving especially through digital platforms as this will be the key to ION’s future.

ION is a registered charity and company limited by guarantee. Our work is focussed on raising awareness of the importance of nutrition in maintaining and improving wellbeing through our range of highly regarded courses.

As well as having expertise in either Higher Education or Strategic Marketing, candidates should also have an interest in nutrition, offer strategic vision and motivation along with the ability to support, challenge and energise our Board.
