INS is a Twickenham based charity founded in 1993 which provides professionally led reablement services for people with long term health conditions including stroke, MS and Parkinson’s in the London Boroughs of Richmond and Hounslow.
Our vision is to ensure all people with neurological and other long term conditions receive holistic, long-term professional support tailored to their needs; to maintain their wellbeing, and to enable the best possible quality of life for them and their carers. We aim to achieve this by both directly providing support from INS staff and volunteers AND by upskilling other organisations to deliver on this vision
The Role of Director of Care
The Care Director is responsible for the overall operation of all therapy, care and support services provided by INS staff, volunteers, peer supporters and sub-contractors.

It is outward facing towards clients and partner agencies and aims to develop INS as a centre of excellence in integrated care for people with long term conditions.
Key responsibilities include:
• Providing the operational strategic leadership to promote the ethos and achieve the aims of INS to provide integrated services and support for life
• Developing and deliver cost effective plans for current and future INS Services to meet the needs of clients/patients, and carers
• Developing and deliver care pathways , ensuring clients/patients, and carers are effectively communicated with and involved from initial referral through assessment and at all stages of agreeing and delivering the care plan
You, along with the Chief Executive will contribute significantly to strategic policy and operational development and the achievement of the overall charitable objectives of INS.
