Appointments update 16 April

• Liverpool Sunflowers Cancer Care has appointed Emma Squibb as chief executive.

Squibb succeeds Joan Elmer who is retiring from her post after more than ten years of service at Liverpool Sunflowers.

Squibb’s previous roles include work for Liverpool Charity & Voluntary Services, and more recently for Cancer Research UK.

• World Vision UK has announced Tim Pilkington as its new chief executive.

Pilkington has served as acting chief executive since January. He joined the organisation in 2013 as director of finance and risk and company secretary. Pilkington began his career as a teacher before training as a tax consultant and working his way up to a vice president position at Shell.

• YMCA Edinburgh has appointed Emma Brown as chief executive.

Brown was until recently was youth work manager at YMCA West and Central Hertfordshire. She takes over from Kerry Reilly who became the new national general secretary of YMCA Scotland at the end of 2014.

• The British Polio Fellowship has announced Mark Fisher, a director at Ernst & Young, has joined its board of trustees.
