Best social media presence

This new award for 2018 will be given to a UK-registered charity that is able to demonstrate innovative and effective use of social media within the 2017-18 period, taking into account engagement, the use of social-media specific campaigns and how well the use of social media has furthered the organisation's goals.

The 1000 word submission for this category must include the following:
Outline of your objectives in implementing social media strategies. This should include the purpose of using social media, which can include increasing effectiveness of communication, providing information, fundraising, etc.
Evidence of how these objectives have been met. What impact has the meeting of these objectives had? This should include detail of the effectiveness of social media, the cost and timescale of developing social media platforms, the increase in engagement and/or audience over the 2017/18 period and the benefits using social media has had on reaching the organisation’s overall goals.
Evidence of excellence. This should outline what makes your use of social media an example of best practice in the overall use of social media. Please provide examples of excellence in innovation and execution.
In 500 words or less, why do you think your use of social media deserves to win this award?
This should include details of the overall impact that your use of social media has had.
In this section evidence may be quantitative, qualitative or a mixture of both.
CONDITIONS: To enter you must be a UK registered charity. However other not-for-profit organisations may be allowed to enter at the discretion of the judges.
